Forgotten Rare is mission-driven. It exists because one family lived this - and wanted no other family to feel as alone as they did. A portion of proceeds supports rare disease families and advocacy efforts in honor of Augyst.
What giveback may support
- Rare disease family support, including care packages and hospital comfort items.
- Hospital support efforts for families with medically complex children.
- Advocacy initiatives and rare disease organizations.
How updates will be shared
As the giveback program grows, we will share updates on what was supported. Specific percentages and partners will be published here as the program is formalized.
What giveback is not
Giveback contributions through Forgotten Rare are not charitable donations to a registered nonprofit and do not constitute tax-deductible giving. Please consult a tax professional for charitable giving guidance, and your medical team for any care decisions.
